Infertility
Sexual dysfunctions and Infertility is becoming very common nowadays, evidenced by the mushrooming of various Infertility Centres everywhere, round the corner. Causes mostly include Delayed Marriages, Obesity, Sedentary lifestyle, rising lifestyle disorders, Stress, Pollution, Food adulteration and rising levels of electromagnetic radiation.
There may be either Male factor or Female factor or both involved, but as male problems are relatively easy to diagnose with use of Semen analysis, Hormonal work up and Ultrasonography, they are done first. Female component is worked up if Male is found to be fit.
Many cases, who come for Infertility counseling are found to have Unconsummated Marriage. Male factors are relatively easy to treat except Azoospermia but female factors need to be worked up in great detail. Chances of conception can be improved with Stress reduction, weight reduction, supplementation and adopting Healthy lifestyle.
If some uncontrollable factors are there, then IVF remains the only option left.
